OKC Tennis Center Shade

The OKC Tennis Center at Will Rogers Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is a landmark in the state's tennis community. It is the largest public park tennis facility in the state, boasting an impressive 36 tennis courts. The center has been an important part of the community since it was built in 1969. Over the years, it has undergone several renovations and improvements, making it a top-notch facility for tennis enthusiasts.

One of the most notable renovations that the center underwent was adding tennis courts designed specifically for children. These courts were built to cater to children who were learning the sport. As a result, the center also focused on creating proper seating and shading areas for parents and other spectators. This decision was made with the intention of creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all spectators, while also providing a supportive environment for children as they embark on their journey to master the sport.

To help with this, we were brought on board to add bleacher shade and site furnishings throughout the center. We worked hard to design a solution that would allow spectators to watch matches with a clear view of the court. The Hanging Cantilever was the perfect solution for this. Multiple bays of these structures were placed throughout the court sides to accommodate the typical amount of spectators and players.

In addition to the Hanging Cantilever, we also worked on adding site furnishings around the courts. We provided matching benches, tables, and trash receptacles that appropriately fit the court's theme. The site furnishings were designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, ensuring that they would enhance the overall experience of the center.

Overall, the improvements made to the OKC Tennis Center at Will Rogers Park have made it a world-class facility. It is a testament to the community's commitment to providing top-notch amenities for tennis enthusiasts of all ages.
