Model: MD Multi-Dome Hip Shade
Multi-Domes, a series of hip end shades that share posts, are a great solution for sports complex seating and parking lots.
Multi-Dome shades are an economical way of shading a very large area. We've used our multi-dome style to shade bleachers, sport courts, parking lots, and more! Once a single dome becomes too large (at around 2,000 sq. ft.), it is typically cheaper to break up the canopy into several smaller canopies that share columns, or posts. For example, a 30' x 40' hip shade, which has four posts, would split into two 30' x 20' hip shades that share six posts. What's more, this would also ensure better tension of your shade's fabric.

Coastal or Northern Customers
For customers in coastal areas or northern climates, we recommend adding our optional Glide Elbow™ fabric tensioning accessory. Not only does this accessory makes it easier to install and tension your fabric, but it also makes it easier to remove the fabric in the event of bad weather. Remove fabric before bad weather, such as heavy snow or hurricanes, to protect the shade's fabric and frame. Our frames are rated for wind gusts up to 150 mph when the shade's fabric is removed.
