In beautiful Waimanalo, Hawaii, Superior Shade had the incredible opportunity to design and construct five unique and innovative shade structures at Sea Life Park. Our primary goal was to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our customer's guests, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the captivating world of dolphins, sea lions, rays, sharks, and a multitude of other native fish, all while being protected from the scorching sun.
In order to accomplish this, Superior Shade implemented a strategic installation of shade sails at the entrance area for guests. Not only do these shade sails offer crucial sun protection, but they also introduce a captivating touch of aesthetic elegance to the space, serving as a visual attraction that visitors can appreciate while waiting in line. These carefully crafted shade sails allow gentle bursts of sunlight to permeate the area, creating a delightful interplay between light and shade.
One of our most remarkable creations, the Arched Cantilever, serves as a stylish and durable cover for the guest seating area at the renowned dolphin exhibit. Situated along the picturesque coast, this structure not only offers unobstructed views of the mesmerizing ocean but also provides a safe haven from the sun's intense rays. Ensuring the utmost comfort is our top priority, not just for our valued guests, but also for the well-being and happiness of the incredible marine creatures in Sea Life Park's care. Hence, we have meticulously designed additional shade structures that offer essential UV protection for the dolphin and sea lion exhibit areas, ensuring their utmost comfort and well-being.
